Type material. We are not aware of the whereabouts of the type specimens.
Type locality. Titechioi , Azarlâc ( Romania) .
Stratigraphy. Late Miocene, Sarmatian (Bessarabian).
Discussion. This species is based on a broad conical quadricinctus morph of Potamides disjunctus (J. de C. Sowerby, 1832) with predominant axial sculpture.
Eastern Paratethys. Sarmatian, Bessarabian (Late Miocene): Moldavian Platform: Titechioi, Azarlâc ( Romania) ( Simionescu & Barbu 1940).
