Type material. Holotype, P-18340, Institutul de Geologie şi Geofizică/Institutul Geologic al României, Bucarest ( Romania), illustrated in Moisescu (1992a: pl. 1, fig. 1).

Type locality. Valea Cetea ( Romania) .

Stratigraphy. Early Miocene, Eggenburgian.

Discussion. The type specimens represent stout morphotypes of Granulolabium plicatum (Bruguière, 1792) with only two spiral rows of beads on the spire whorls.

Central Paratethys. Eggenburgian (Early Miocene): Borod Basin: Valea Cetea ( Romania) ( Moisescu 1992a).
