Type material. Nr. 161/11330, (no information on size), TSNIGR Museum, St. Petersburg. Earlier under Nr. 42163 in Karpinsky Geological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences , Moscow. Illustrated in Zhizhchenko 1934 (pl. 9, fig. 20) and 1936 (pl. 20, figs 29–30) .
Type locality. Benoi ( Russia) .
Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, early Chokrakian.
Discussion. This species is based on a strongly eroded specimen. It is treated as synonym of Theodisca cicur ( Zhizhchenko, 1934) .
Eastern Paratethys. Early Chokrakian (Middle Miocene): Ciscaucasia: Benoi, Elistanzhi River, Roshnya River (Chechnya, Russia).
