= Granulolabium sp.

Potamides plicatus (Bruguière) var. alpinus Tournoeur [sic], 1872— Ryabinin & Korobkov 1949: 241, pl. 65, fig. 5.

Discussion. The specimen illustrated by Ryabinin & Korobkov (1949: pl. 65, fig. 5) differs from Granulolabium alpinum ( Tournouër, 1872) in its more delicate sculpture and weaker beads (see Tournouër 1872: pl. 5 fig. 10).

This occurrence is listed herein only because it was dated as middle Oligocene by Ryabinin & Korobkov (1949) but the section is now dated as Thanetian (own data A.G.).

Eastern Paratethys. Thanetian [as Bukhara stage] (late Paleocene): Central Asia: Fergana Valley ( Ryabinin & Korobkov 1949).
