Type material. We are not aware of the whereabouts of the type material.

Type locality. Kosiv (Kosów) ( Ukraine) .

Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Badenian.

Discussion. Established by Friedberg (1936) as slender variety of Terebralia bidentata [= T. lignitarum ] based on a single, poorly preserved specimen.

Central Paratethys. Badenian (Middle Miocene): Polish-Ukrainian Fore-Carpathian Basin: Kosiv (Ternopil Region, Ukraine) ( Friedberg 1936).
