Type material. Lectotype designated herein: specimen illustrated in Friedberg (1914: pl. 17, fig. 8), Geological Museum of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Krakow.
Type locality. Glibiv ( Ukraine) .
Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Sarmatian (Volhynian).
Discussion. A slender morph of Tiaracerithium pictum with reduced sculpture.
Central Paratethys. Volhynian (Middle Miocene): Polish-Ukrainian Fore-Carpathian Basin: Bogdanówka, Miechocin, Wola Mazowiecka ( Poland), Glibiv, Gusyatyn (Ternopil Region, Ukraine) ( Friedberg 1914); Eastern Slovakian Basin: Slanec, Olšovany ( Slovakia) ( Švagrovský 1954).
