Peregrinpachymeridium gen. nov.
Etymology. Genus name is a combination of the Latin Peregrin (‘outlandish’) and Pachymeridium (the type genus of this family). Gender feminine.
Type species. Peregrinpachymeridium comitcola sp. nov.
Diagnosis. Body of medium size, lateral sides subparallel. Head pentagonal, width subequal to length, longer than pronotum; eyes round, projecting over the lateral sides of head, widely separated, situated at middle of head length, anteocular portion longer than postocular, ocelli situated near to level of posterior margins of eyes, interocellar space narrower than interocular space; rostrum thin, extending to hind coxae, acute distally; antenna longer than head and pronotum combined, first segment shortest, not extending beyond apex of head, second feebly longer than third, third feebly longer than fourth, fourth fusiform. Pronotum trapezoidal, transverse, with collar; scutellum triangular, shorter than pronotum at median line, wider than long; coxae and trochanter rounded triangular, fore coxae situated remote from mid coxae, mid and hind coxae situated near to each other, femora thicker than tibiae, fore and mid femora slightly shorter than corresponding tibiae in length, hind tibia distinctly longer than hind femur, apex of tibiae with setae; tarsi 3-segmented, subequal in thickness, third longest, second feebly shorter than third. Hemelytron macropterous, apical margin rounded, extending beyond tip of abdomen, with costal fracture, corium venation clearly, Sc, R and M diverging at a single point, Cu arising claval suture, connected with 1A at apex of clavus, a cross veins at corium-membrane boundary joined with C+Sc, R, M and Cu; 1A near clavus suture, posterior claval vein 2A along hind margin of clavus; clavus large, claval commissure longer than scutellum; membrane with 6 free wide veins, arising from cross veins at corium-membrane boundary joined, first vein situated remote from anterior margin of membrane, fourth and fifth veins merging into one vein before middle of membrane. Abdomen oval, wider than pronotum; ovipositor long.
Remarks. The new genus and Nitculus Yao, Cai & Ren, 2006 were found in the same locality, it can be distinguished from the latter according to the following characters: with collar (vs. without collar), forewing extending beyond abdomen tip (vs. not extending beyond abdominal tip), membrane with clear marking (vs. without marking).
