Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 1 – 8 ) wingspan 26.0–33.0 mm. This species is diagnostic by the forewing having a pale saffron spot on the inner side of the postmedial line; in the male genitalia ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 16 – 19 ) by the shuttle-shaped distal process of the gnathos and the longer clasper about 1/2 the length of the valva; and in the female genitalia ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 20 – 26 ) by the ducuts bursae about the same length of the bursal ring. Orybina imperatrix is similar to O. bellatulla sp. nov. in the wing color, and the differences between them are stated under O. bellatulla sp. nov.
Distribution. China (Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang).
