Subgenus Planoodescelis Egorov, 2004

Planoodescelis Egorov, 2004: 649 . Type species: Oodescelis kansouensis Kaszab, 1940 (by original designation).

Supplement of subgeneric diagnosis. The subgenus was established based on a species from Gansu, the diagnostic characters of the subgenus are supplemented below by the material from a new species from Hubei.

Prosternal process weakly obtuse apically in lateral view; elytra [flattened or] weakly convex; surface of elytral apex and epipleura dull; surface of epipleura with rather sparse and short setae, without punctures or wrinkles; male abdomen [without or] with setal brush at middle of ventrites 1, 2 and 5; tibiae [straight or] slightly curved.
