Pseudocryptothrips Priesner View in CoL

The three species in this genus are structurally similar to the species of Allothrips , and apparently share the same habitat ( Minaei 2011). Two of the species are from tropical countries, but the type species, P. meridionalis Priesner ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 1–12 ), was described from Albania and then reported from Iran ( Minaei 2011). It was collected from leaf litter in south of Iran ( Minaei & Alichi 2002), but in the present study it was taken in association with Allothrips bournieri .
