Verodes asperatus ( Champion, 1884)

This species is endemic to Mexico in the states of Hidalgo, Puebla, San Luis Potos´ı , and Veracruz, at elevations around 1,500 m ( Foley and Ivie 2008). Until now, precise localities have not been published. We cite the following localities: “ MEXICO: Hidalgo, Tlanchinol, 25-VI-1992, 1,500 m, bosque mesófilo, J. Blackaller col.” (1 ♀, IEXA) .
