Pütz (cPüt, cAss) ; 1 ex., Shaanxi, Qinling Shan, 31 km E Xian, Li Shan, near Lintong , 34°20'N, 109°16'E, 1000-1200 m, dry meadows and forest, 23.-25.VIII.1995, leg. Pütz (cPüt) ; 1 ex., Sichuan, 20 miles S Xian, Nan Wutai , 19.IX.1980, leg. Hammond (cAss) .

C o m m e n t: Sunius furcillatus has become known from the Chinese provinces Hubei, Shaanxi, and Sichuan ( ASSING 2002). One specimen collected in August is teneral.
