THAILAND: Chiang Mai: 1♀ ( ZMPC), Huai Kaeo village, Mae On, Chiang Mai N 18°53′36″ E 99°15′53″ h ~ 500m; 09-11.VIII.2009 D. V. Potanin leg. GoogleMaps Nan: 1♂ ( THPC), Bo Kluea dist., Bo Kluea subdist., 6.IX.2019 T. Hongsuwong leg.
Remarks. This species is very widespread in mainland Asia. The material examined herein documents its presence in Laos and Thailand for the first time.
Zhang et al. (2014) reported it from Preah Vihear Province of northern Cambodia. However, the southernmost distribution of several species treated in the same work are restricted to northern Indochina, i.e. Anomala aulax (Wiedemann, 1832) , Glenopopillia rufipennis rufipennis Lin, 1980 (subspecific status confirmed by Denis Keith, personal communication, 2021), Mimela nigritarsis Lin, 1990 . It is most probable that those material was mislabeled by an insect dealer. The record of M. dehaani in Cambodia is thus omitted here.
Distribution. Bhutan; China: Anhui *, Fujian, Guangdong *, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hunan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan; India: Assam, Sikkim; Laos *: Xieng Khouang; Thailand *: Chiang Mai, Nan; Vietnam: Lam Dong, Lao Cai, Vinh Phuc.
