3.1.8. Pisces

Of the 81 examined fish samples, a number of different parasites could be identified. Ciliates were found in 6.2% of the samples. Ciliata samples were either Ichthyophthirius multifiliis (40%) or Trichodina spp. (40%) ( Figs. 1a View Fig ) and 20% were Glossatella sp. Furthermore, Capillaria spp. and Gyrodactylus spp. were identified in 2.5% and 1.2% of the samples respectively ( Table 2).
