Leptothecata View in CoL : Plumulariidae
The sequenced plumulariid species from Bali include: Dentitheca elongata ( Billard, 1913) , Cladacanthella scabra ( Lamarck, 1816) , Plumularia procumbens Spencer, 1891 and Sibogella flabellata Di Camillo & Galea, 2020 , for which genetic data are provided for the first time, and P. badia Kirchenpauer, 1876 , P. strictocarpa Pictet, 1893 , Sciurella cylindrica ( Kirchenpauer, 1876) and S. erecta Billard, 1911a ( Fig. 31A View FIGURE 31 ), with available sequences so far.
A multi-locus phylogenetic hypothesis based on 16S, 18S and 28S rRNA was also produced to assess the phylogenetic position of C. scabra , which results to be closely-related to P. badia , P. spiralis Billard, 1911b and D. bidentata ( Jäderholm, 1905) ( Fig. 31B View FIGURE 31 ).
