ORDER ANURA A.M.C. Duméril 1805 , 91
(4 superfamilies, 9 families, 10 subfamilies, 34 genera, 97 species, 1 endemic genus, 28 endemic species, 1 introduced genus, 1 introduced species). Solís et al. (2014) credited Fischer von Waldheim [Fischer] (1813 [p. 58], as Anuri), apparently following McCranie (2009), with this order name. However, Fouquette & Dubois (2014) presented an argument for A.M.C. Duméril (1805 [p. 91], as Anoures) being the correct author.
