Remarks. In this present study we recognized another species new to China— Sycacantha obtundana Kuznetsov, 1988 . In appearance, it is more similar to members of Sycacantha than Phaecasiohpora ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 2–7 ), but in the male genitalia ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 8–14 ) its socius lack the typical characteristics of Sycacantha , i.e., they are rectangular and lack a cleft. In the COI gene tree, this species groups with members of Phaecasiophora rather than Sycacantha , so we transfer it to that genus.
