Diagnosis
The new species resembles P. zonatus sp. nov. ( Figs 39–40 View Fig View Fig ), but can be distinguished by: (1) pockets located relatively away from the copulatory openings in ventral view ( Figs 13B View Fig , 14A View Fig ), while located relatively closer to copulatory openings in P. zonatus ( Figs 39B View Fig , 40A View Fig ); (2) atrium margin somewhat parallel to each other in ventral view ( Figs 13B View Fig , 14A View Fig ), while somewhat V-shaped in P. zonatus ( Figs 39B View Fig , 40A View Fig ).
Etymology
The specific name is derived from the combination of the Latin noun ‘ folium ’ (‘leaf’) and the adjective ‘ latus ’ (‘wide’), referring to the leaf-like markings on abdominal dorsum.
