Hadrorestes Howden, 1982 .

Females of Hadromeropsis have the posterior margin of ventrites 2, 3 and 4 elevated ( Howden 1982) and at first sight could be erroneously misinterpreted as modifications of the anterior part of ventrites 3–5 as in Pandeleteinus and other genera, nonetheless the anterior margin of these ventrites are never sulcate in Hadromeropsis . This genus is mainly South American, with eight Mexican representatives ( Morrone 1999). To separate species and their distributions and biology see Howden (1982).
