Discussion. This unassociated female differs distinctly from all other known species of Ommatides by the uniformly black coloration of the body and contrasting yellow legs with suffused distal tarsomere. It could not be associated with of O. zanderij sp. nov., the geographically closest species described here, since they are were collected from different localities and molecular data was not recovered for O. zanderij sp. nov.
