Ind. Loc.:—“in fodinis subterraneis montis Ramazzo, prope Genuam supra Sestri a Ponente, in fissuris serpentini pyritiferi, unde sal catharticum extrahitur”. LIG

Type (lectotype designated by Pichi Sermolli 1976: 33):— ITALY. Reperi cum prof. Vivianio in Liguria occidua in monte Ramazzo retro Sestri di Ponente , 1803 ( BOLO) .

Note:—The neotype designated by Rasbach et al. (1986: 219) is not needed.
