Diagnosis. Body medium or large. Wings long, often surpassing apices of hind knees. Male ninth abdominal tergite furrowed in the midline; with a pair of sclerotized crossed hooks; bases of hooks often with rounded convexities;
subgenital plate with styli. Female subgenital plate with a pair of copulatory depressions or unpaired medium depression on basal area.
