Diagnosis. Body almost uniformly pale brown to brown, pro, meso and metathorax slightly orange; fore wings transparent in basal third and extreme apex but shaded between these transparent areas, scale transparent with extreme base shaded. Head with cheeks straight. Antennal segment II with some rows of microtrichia, VI almost straight at sides in basal half, tapering in distal half. Pronotum with more than 40 discal setae. Mesonotum with a pair of CPS anteromedially (one paratype studied with one sensillum); median pair of setae near posterior margin. Metascutum transversely reticulated medially; median pair of setae behind anterior margin. Abdominal terga without ciliate microtrichia on lines of sculpture, smooth medially, posterior margin with microtrichia laterally; tergum II with four lateral marginal setae (one paratype studied with irregularly arranged setae on one side); terga VI to VIII with B4 setae minute; segment IX with both anterior and posterior pairs of CPS; segment X slightly divided at apex; sterna without discal setae. Male is not known .
Specimen examined. Taiwan: Paratype, 1 female, Tainan, Kuantzuling, on wooden trees, 1iv1993, C. L. Wang ( TARI) .
