Diagnosis. Body uniformly yellowish brown. Head with cheeks straight. Ocellar setae III near anterior margin of hind ocelli. Antennal segment II with some rows of microtrichia, VI widest at middle and tapering in distal half. Pronotum with about 50 discal setae. Mesonotum without campaniform sensilla anteromedially; median pair of setae near posterior margin. Metascutum reticulated longitudinally at middle; median pair of setae near anterior margin and close to submedian setae. Abdominal terga II to VIII with numerous ciliate microtrichia along lines of sculpture, smooth medially; tergum II with four lateral marginal setae; terga VI to VIII with B4 setae minute; segment IX with both anterior and posterior pairs of CPS; segment X slightly divided at apex; sterna III to VII with a pair of discal setae. Male with antennal segment VI much longer than that of female, with numerous long setae and without microtrichia. Abdominal terga with B4 setae minute gradually; sterna with discal setae. Hypomere dilated at apex. CPS and SB1 setae of tergum IX not visible in the available uncleared specimens.
Specimens examined. Taiwan: Paratypes, 2 males and 3 females, Taoyuan, Tsyrhu, on Morus sp. , 7v1992, C. L. Wang ( TARI) .
