Scapsipedus limbatus Saussure, 1877
Zayas, 1976: 85, fig. 78.
Distribution. Madagascar.
Notes. This is not a Caribbean species. There are five specimens in the Zayas collection and 21 specimens in the CZACC collection determined with this name. We believe this is likely a misidentification since S. limbatus is a species from Madagascar. This will be clarified through the actual study of specimens, although a quick comparison with the Caribbean species presented in Otte and Perez-Gelabert (2009) suggests this is a different species.
