Lectotype, from Minas Gerais, Southeast, Brazil. [ ZSM].

Distribution. Antigua, Barbados, Brazil, Cuba, Dominica, Florida, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago and Mexico.
