Material. Holotype: SNHMB-G.5998 , part and counterpart of a well-preserved isolated wing. Paratype: SNHMBG.5999 , part and counterpart of an isolated wing.
Etymology. From the Triassic.
Locality and horizon. Fuchsberg near Seinstedt, Lower Saxony, Germany; ’Fossilführende Wechselfolge’ alternating fine grained sand, silt and clay, Shipingia gerbachmanni conchostracan zone; latest Sevatian (uppermost Norian); Upper Triassic.
Description. Small isolated wing, 3.0 mm long, 2.7 times as long as wide, with large dark spot along anterior margin between Sc and R 4. Sc exceeding 0.3 wing midlength level with Rs furcation, R 1 exceeding 0.47 wing length; Rs origin at 0.2 wing length; costal section R 1 –R 2+3 2.3 times as long as R 2+3 –R 4. R 4+5 stem 1.4 times as long as Rs stem, R 4+5 fork 2.3 times longer than R 4+5 stem; R 4 very close to R 2+3, with supernumerary crossvein between them probably, R 4+5 furcation level with M 1+2 furcation, discal cell elongate, about 1/4 wing length, four times as long as wide, with middle fold, continuing M stem direction; basal part of M 3+4 subequal to m-cu, distal part of CuA sigmoidal, CuP ending level with m-cu.
