Description

Shell circular with left valve attached to substratum, length to 35 mm, sculpture on right valve of fine, densely packed, curved spines, white interior, slight red blush ventrally and in umbonal region.

Distribution

Indo-Pacific including Hong Kong ( Scott 1994). Subtidal and cemented to rocks and submarine caves.
