Diagnosis. Body fusiform, gnathosoma large, scapular tubercles and setae present. Legs with typical setae, tarsal empodium (ω) entire. Coxisternal plates with prosternal apodeme, all coxal and opisthosomal setae present. Opisthosomal annuli subequal dorsoventrally, dorsal annuli without fissures.
Notes. To date, the genus holds 17 species, of which 11 species occur in China, including the new species R. tremae sp. nov. reported herein. Seven species, R. broussonetiae Kuang, 1986 b infesting Broussonetia kazinoki Sieb. & Zucc. (Moraceae) , R. grewiae Kuang, 2001 infesting Grewia biloba G. ( Tiliaceae ), R. plagiogyrus Huang, 2001 d infesting Plagiogyria formaosana Christ (Plagiogyriaceae) , R. sorbariae Kuang & Hong, 1991 infesting Sorbaria sorbifolia (Linn.) A. Br. (Rosaceae) , R. tremae sp. nov. infesting Trema cannabina Lour. (Ulmaceae) , R. walapiensis Huang, 2001 b infesting unknown species ( Poaceae ) and R. xiamenensis Kuang, 1986 b infesting Ulmus sp. ( Ulmaceae ) occur in Oriental China; the other four species from China, R. cunninghamiae Xue, Song & Hong, 2006 b, infesting Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook. (Taxodiaceae) , R. dudichi Farkas, 1963 infesting Prunus domestica Linn. , P. mahaleb Linn. , P. tomentosa Thunb. (Rosaceae) and Ficus carica Linn. (Moraceae) , R. roxburghis Xue, Song & Hong, 2006 b infesting Rosa roxburghii Tratt. (Rosaceae) and R. sericeaomeiensis Xue, Song & Hong, 2009 a infesting Rosa sericea ssp. omeiensis ( Rosaceae ) are occur in Palaearctic China.
