Pseudohylobius sp. det. C. Germann // Holotype Obhylius arboricola gen. and sp. nov. des. Germann 2020 [red label] //Barcode label: NMB-COLEO0010001 ( NMB) .

Description: Body and genitalia ( Figs 1 View FIGS 1 A-H) Length: 2.2 mm. Body dark auburn, antennae and tarsi auburn. Head globular, partly hidden in pronotum; frons horizontal, above eyes, rostrum straight, spatulate in dorsal view, bent downwards in lateral view, twice as long as wide, widening anteriad, surface striate; eyes weakly protruding from outline of head, oval ( Fig 1 View FIGS 1 D). Antennae inserted before middle of rostrum; scrobes oblique, posterior ends approximate. Antennal scape as long as width of rostral apex. Antennal funiculus consisting of 6 segments. First segment one third wider than second, half of second segment hidden in first one ( Fig. 1 View FIGS 1 H), following four segments transverse, steadily widening, club oval, twice as wide as last segment and as long as all funicular segments together. Club clothed with dense erect whitish hairs ( Fig. 1 View FIGS 1 H). Prothorax cylindrical (L/B: 1.0). Front margin strongly constricted. Elytra (L/B: 1.6), parallel sided to first third, from there rounded towards apex, outline of apex somewhat angular when viewed from above. Surface of head, prothorax and intervals on elytra clothed with bowed adjacent bristles, and long, raised, clubbed scales. Legs rather short and stout. Femoral teeth most prominent on profemora ( Fig. 1 View FIGS 1 J), smaller on meso- and metafemora ( Fig. 1 View FIGS 1 K). Male genitalia: Penis long and narrow. Penis body tubeshaped, bowed, with ostium and apex rounded, apodeme twice as long as penis body. The tegmen consists of an inverted bell shaped, feebly sclerotized tegminal ring, an apodeme of similar length as the apodemes of the penis body, and parameroid lobes which are one slightly shorter than the transverse diameter of the tegmen. In total, the tegmen is of about the same length as the penis, which has very long and slender apodemes twice as long as the length of the penis body.

Female unknown.

Derivation of name: The species name arboricola refers to the habitat of the new species in the canopy of an Aglaia macrophylla tree in primary forest.

Remarks: The new genus and species was included in the phylogenetic analyses by Germann & Grebennikov (2020) as genus «near Pseudohylobius ».
