Type:— [ TURKEY. B 7 Erzincan] inter Sürek et Albuschik, in herbidis, 6 May 1890, Sintenis 2157 (holotype LD!).
Specimens seen:— TURKEY. Erzincan: Refahiye ‒ Erzincan, 500 m from Sakaltutan pass, roadsides, stony slopes, 2116 m, 23 May 2013, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2373 ( GAZI) ; Refahiye-Erzincan yolu, 25 km to Erzincan, slopes, 1536 m, 30 May 2014, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2528 ( GAZI) ; Sakaltutan pass, 1980 m, 28 June 2013, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2466 ( GAZI) .
Flowering time: —May–June.
Habitat: —Roadsides, stony slopes. 1530‒2200 m elevation.
Distribution: —Endemic. Irano-Turanian element.
