Type: — [ TURKEY. A 8 Rize] in regione inferiori Ponti Lazici prope Rhize [June 1866], Balansa (holotype G).
Specimens seen: — TURKEY. Rize: İyidere road, coastal stone, 0 m, 11 May 2013, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2371 ( GAZI) ; Karayemiş Village , under and in clearings mixed forest, rocky, 282 m, 11 May 2013, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2370 ( GAZI) ; ibid., 26 June 2013, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2449 ( GAZI) .
Flowering time:— May–August.
Habitat:— Meadows, rocky places, under and in clearings mixed forest, coastal stone. 0‒2100 m elevation.
Distribution:— Endemic. Euro-Siberian element.
