Type: — [ TURKEY. C 6 Hatay] Amanus mts., Chaklikman, Bithias, by the water spring, 400‒500 m, 27 August 1931, Eig & M. Zohary (holotype HUJ).

Specimens seen: — TURKEY. Hatay: Batı Ayaz Village, Çağlayan location, under and in clearings mixed forest, rocky, 426 m, 09 July 2014, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2603 ( GAZI) ; Batı Ayaz Village, Çağlayan recreation area, damp areas, rocky, 426 m, 20 May 2015, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2658 ( GAZI) ; 17 June 2015, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2680 ( GAZI) .

Flowering time:— June–August.

Habitat:— Damp areas, under and in clearings mixed forest, rocky. 400‒500 m elevation.

Distribution:— Endemic. Mediterranean element.

Note: — Scrophularia clematidifolia , a imperfectly known species according to Flora of Turkey ( Lall & Mill 1978), was collected at the type locality in 2015. Detailed information on the species is available from Uzunhisarcıklı et al. (2017).
