Type: —[ USSR] in provinciis caucasicis [in Guriae m. Somlia], Nordmann (holotype LE, photo. E, K).
Records in Turkey: — Erzurum: Erzurum, Palantekan (Palandöken Da.), 1980 m, 26 July 1874, Radde (fide Gabrielian in litt.).
Note: — According to Flora of Turkey, S. macrobotrys was recorded only once in Turkey “ B 8 Erzurum: Erzurum, Palantekan (Palandoken Da.), 1980 m, 26 July 1874, Radde ”. Since 1874, no records or collections appear to exist. Provided that we have collected only S. chlorantha in Palandöken Mt (Erzurum), a species close to S. macrobotrys , the latter is excluded from the list of Scrophularia present in Turkey.
