Material examined. Thailand, Nai Yang Beach, 8.08686°N, 98.294819°E, sweep net 8.59PM, 22.Nov.2008 A. Thepparat (2 females).
Diagnosis. Female: The only species in the Ornatus group with SCo pattern 1–12, rounded palpal pit, pale haltere and wing with the apical pale spot in cell r5 not reaching wing margin.
Distribution. Indonesia, Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak Thailand (new record).
