Geography:—Novokachalinsk, Primorye Territory, Russian Federation.
Stratigraphy:—Middle Miocene.
Status:—Leaves.
Eponymy:—From Primorye Territory, locus classicus.

Note:—The fossil-species Rubus ellipticus Pavlyutkin was described from the Middle Miocene sedimens of Primorye Territory ( Russian Federation); it was established on fossil leaves. However, the fossil-species is a later illegitimate homonym of the extant species Rubus ellipticus Smith. Therefore , a new replacement name is validated here for the fossil-species.
