Material. Somhegy, Bajocian: 106 carapaces; Csurgókút, Toarcian: 4 carapaces.

Dimensions. L: 275–372 µm, H: 242–314 µm, L/H: 1.14–1.18.

Remarks. A species of Hungaroleberis with a smooth valve surface. Due to their poor preservation, these specimens could belong to a species other than H. retiferus n. sp.

Occurrences. Csurgókút, Tata, Hungary: Toarcian, Lower Jurassic (this paper); Somhegy, Bakony Hills, Hungary: Bajocian, Middle Jurassic (this study).
