Diagnosis. Punctulata palliptera can be distinguished from its congeners by the saccus widened apically ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 10–15 ). It is similar to P. novipalliptera Wang , sp. nov., and the differences between them are stated under P. novipalliptera .
Description. Adult ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 4–9 ) with wingspan 12.5–15.0 mm. Body color and forewing pattern in female same as those in male.
Female genitalia ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 16–18 ). Papillae anales setose, rounded on caudal margin. Apophyses anteriores about 5/8 length of apophyses posteriores. Antrum cup-shaped. Ductus bursae membranous, posterior 2/5 narrow, anterior 3/5 slightly inflated, with a sclerite bearing numerous teeth; ductus seminalis from posterior 2/5. Corpus bursae elliptical, about same length as ductus bursae, spiculate partially; signum near entrance of corpus bursae, with two long spines curved before pointed apex.
Distribution. China (Chongqing, Guizhou, Henan, Zhejiang).
Notes. The female of this species is described for the first time.
