Guyalna bonaerensis ( Berg, 1879) View in CoL
Fidicina bonaerensis Berg 1879: 140 View in CoL (Buenos Aires, Santa Fe and Entre Rios Provinces, Argentina and Uruguay).
Remarks. Syntype specimens are deposited in the Museo de La Plata Entomological Collection ( Marino de Remes Lenicov et al. 2015).
Distribution. The species is distributed in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay ( Metcalf 1963a; Duffels & van der Laan 1985; Ruffinelli 1970; Sanborn 2011b, 2013; Sanborn & Heath 2014; Nunes et al. 2023). The previous report ( Uhler 1903) of the species in Guyana was shown to be in error ( Sanborn 2023b). Ruffinelli (1970) reported examples from Yacaré, Rivera, Santa Rita, Cerro Largo, Durazno, and Montevideo. Ruffinelli (1970) commented that it is the most common species in Uruguay.
