COLLECTOR/S. — Charles-Alexandre Lesueur, contra Desmarest (1822: 380) who mentioned both Péron and Lesueur as its collectors. COLLECTION LOCALITY. — Near Port Jackson (Sydney), New South Wales, Australia ( Desmarest 1822: 380). COLLECTION DATE. — Between 3 July and 18 November 1802. SPECIMEN NUMBER/S. — MNHN-ZM-AC-A3316 ( Fig. 1 View FIG ), holotype skeleton mount (male).

OTHER NUMBER/S. — CAG IV-28 by Péron and Lesueur.
