Material examined. 1 female (B7.20), Sandakan Forest Research Center , Sepilok, 19 June 1969, coll. FRC staff, det. M. Muzamil (2010) ( OSF Specimen ID = 147053) ; 1 male (B7.20), Sandakan , 22 July 1970, coll. H. S. Martyn, det. M. Muzamil (2010) ( OSF Specimen ID = 147052) .

Remarks. Very similar to Pseudophyllus colosseus ( Hebard, 1922) described from Sandakan but the specimens examined agree more with P. hercules by area between radial vein and the radial branch vein and the preradial area less broad.
