Exot Microl. 1: 573; Clarke, 1965: 60. TL: S. India, Palnis. [BMNH].
Diagnosis. The male genitalia are very similar to those of F. strepsiptilia Meyrick, and can be distinguished from the latter by the slender lateral lobe of the juxta and the less stout aedeagus. The female is as yet unknown.
Adult ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 17 – 32 , type). Wingspan, 17.0 mm.

Material examined. 1♂ (type), Palnis, S. India TBF. 6,000 ft, 5. 12, gen. prep. no., BM-8667 and two additional types are in the BMNH. No additional specimen has been found since it was described.
Distribution. India (South).
