Distribution: North America, Central America, South America ( Bundy et al. 2018) .

Examined material: 29.IX.2017 (1 ♀), 30.X.2017 (1 ♂), 10.VIII.2018 (1 ♂).

Comments. Piezodorus guildinii was described from material collected in the island of St. Vincent in the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea ( Bundy et al. 2018) and its current distribution is usually associated with the expanding cultivation of soybean in the New World. This species has been recorded feeding and completing its life cycle in several host plants, mostly in species of Fabaceae including native species ( Smaniotto & Panizzi 2015; Bundy et al. 2018).
