Material examined. Type. Holotype ♀: MADAGASCAR: Toamasina Province, Foulpointe, XI.1995, forêt/sable, A. Pauly leg. ( FSAE). Other material. MADAGASCAR: Toamasina Province, Perinet, 27.IV–3.V.1983, J.S. Noyes & M.C. Day leg., 1♀ ( BMNH).

Redescription. Female: apterous; length 4.2–5.6 mm. Head brown, except mandible, clypeus and most part of face testaceous; antenna brown, except segments 9–10 yellow-whitish; mesosoma black, except lateral regions of pronotum brown-testaceous; metasoma brown; legs brown, except tarsi testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennal segments of holotype in following proportions: 13:7:32:16:13:10:10:9:8:14. Head excavated, hairless, shiny, smooth, finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; temple distinct; POL = 2.5; OL = 2.5; OOL = 12. Palpal formula 5/3. Pronotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured, crossed by strong transverse furrow. Scutum shiny, sculptured by many longitudinal keels, with two lateral pointed apophyses situated on sides of margin between scutum and scutellum ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 12 – 14. 12, 13 ). Scutellum inclined, shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Metanotum inclined, slightly hollow behind scutellum, with two lateral pointed apophyses; lateral regions of metanotum transversely striate. Metathorax + propodeum shiny, with anterior surface smooth and unsculptured. Posterior surface of propodeum, mesopleuron and metapleuron strongly transversely striate. Mesometapleural suture obsolete, slightly visible only in posterior half. Protarsal segments in following proportions: 20:4:8:20:33; segment 3 of protarsus produced into hook. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 12 – 14. 12, 13 ) with two rows of 4 + 15 lamellae; distal apex with about 16 lamellae. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 12 – 14. 12, 13 ) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of seven lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
