Report associated with sponges: This species was reported from Kagamil Pass, Islands of the Four Mountains , Aleutian Islands , Alaska, at 74.68 m (245 feet) depth among Boulder and gravel bottom covered with corals, sponges, and hydrozoa. This was also reported from Oglala Pass, Rat Islands , Aleutian Islands , Alaska at 54.66 m (180 feet) depth among sediments inhabiting bryozoans, hydrozoans, and sponges ( Newell 1951a) .
