Report associated with sponges: This species was reported (cited as Copidognathus arcticus ) from Arctic Ocean, 60 miles southwest of Barrow, in Alaskan sponges, bryozoans, and sand at depth of 76.2 m (250 feet) ( Newell 1951b).

Remarks: This species was also reported among shells, sand, muddy sand and gravel ( Newell 1951b).
