Report associated with sponges: This species was reported among sponge Geodia sp. from Rovinj (Rovigno) (Adriatic Sea, Mediterranean Sea) ( Viets 1940).

Remarks: This species was reported in intertidal and subtidal zones on sediments, algae, and barnacles ( Green & MacQuitty 1987).
