Arhodeoporus arenarius Newell, 1947

Report associated with sponges: This species was reported among sponges and broken shells perforated by sponge Cliona sp. at subtidal area of Beaufort, North Carolina, Eastern North America (Newell 1947); also reported in empty Ostrea valves extensively pitted by sponge Cliona sp. from New Haven harbour, Long Island Sound, Eastern North America (Newell 1947).

Remarks: This species was also reported among algae (e.g., Enteromorpha ), sand, mollusca; also among Modiolus (Mollusca) encrusted with Balanus (Arthropoda) from Eastern North America (Newell 1947).
