Distribution. INDIA: Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu; SRI LANKA.
Host plant. Larval: Grewia tiliifolia Vahl , Malvaceae (cited by Beeson 1941).
Remarks. Agrilus viridifrons occurs in South India and Sri Lanka. The reliable identification is based only on characters of aedeagus with membranous sensory zones subangulate apically ( Fig. 5I View FIGURES 5 ).
