Description, male. Body length 3.15 mm. Head and mesosoma black; wings clear hyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head wide. Flagellomeres short, with sparse and short setae. Mandible very narrow, curved, and with teeth equally wide. Median clypeal lobe angulate, long. Frons coriaceous . Antennal scrobe carinate, but weak. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli small. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, strongly coriaceous ; transverse pronotal carina present, incomplete; with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus very narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges absent; metapostnotalpropodeal suture straight; paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea opened; lower fovea opened; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened.

Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein not distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose. Claws trifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. Basiparamere shorter than paramere; paramere wide, truncate, with ventral and dorsal margin straight, and with basal portion slender, sparsely setose; basivolsella with apical excavation at inner margin; cuspis with arms very short, with basal projection at inner margin, dorsal arm wide; aedeagus with basal portion angled and slender, and apical portion as long as basal, wide, and swollen; apodeme slender.

Remarks. This species differs from A. tuberosus by having the antennal flagellomeres short; the clypeus with the median lobe angulate and long; the antennal scrobe carinate, but weak; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle forming a right angle; the ocelli small; the transverse pronotal carina incomplete; the metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; the mesopleuron with all the foveae open; the paramere shorter than the basiparamere, wide and truncate; and the aedeagus apical portion slender, whereas A. tuberosus has the antennal flagellomeres long; the clypeus with the median lobe rounded and short; the antennal scrobe carinate; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle acute; the ocelli large; the transverse pronotal carina complete; the metapostnotal-propodeal suture convergent to the first metapostnotal carina; the mesopleuron with the mesopleureal fovea and suture closed; the paramere as long as the basiparamere, slender and rounded; and the aedeagus apical portion wide and swollen.
